Story:
During the 50's, Conrad Birdie is today's equivalent of Ricky
Martin. He makes everyone swoon. Rose (Vanessa Williams) and
Albert (Jason Alexander) are Conrad's managers, who are dating
each other. Conrad is being shipped into the army, and they have
to pay off his $50.000 guarantee. Rose comes up with the idea to
write a song called "One Last Kiss", and have Conrad
give that kiss to one of his fans. The movie takes you through
the trials and tribulations of Rose and Albert trying to make
their relationship work, while at the same time working on
getting the record to be a hit. One thing stands in the way of
all this: Albert's mother.
