Harley Davidson und der Marlboro Man

Genre:
Action, Motion Picture
Cast:
Vanessa Williams as Lulu Daniels,
Mickey Rourke, Don Johnson
Produced by:
Jere Henshaw
Directed by:
Simon Wincer
Timeline:
The movie was released in the US in 1991
Vanessaīs appearance:
Already after 15 minutes you can hear and see
Vanessa singing "What will I tell my heart" in the same
dress like on the picture, just the color differs, itīs a blue
dress. But after that one she starts to sing the song "The
better part of me", itīs a very special song just
read more about it in the next point. You can monstly hear her
only during this one, but I LOVE this song. After a fight scene
and a little small talk, Vanessa comes and says a few words.
After 10 minutes without Vanessa her last scene starts: She sings
"Work to do" in a HOT gold dress.
She appears for not more than 3 minutes and has about 5 lines of
non-singing dialogue-so a really small role.
Whatīs special about this one:
Now the thing about "The better part of me":
This song is written by Derek Bramble and Jimmy Scott. Itīs mid
tempo ballad like "Dreaminī" and just FANTASTIC. And
it was NEVER released on a cd, that is really a shame.
Vanessaīs song on the soundtrack is "What will I tell my
heart", Mercury Records should have better used "The
better part of me" because "What
will...." is already on her "Comfort Zone" album -
these guys are just loosers. Hearing "The better
part of me" and seeing Vanessa was for me the BEST
thing in this movie.
US gross - $7.5 Million
